The prices below serve as an orientation. Final costs
depend heavily on the project. If you have any questions in this regard—or in other matters—do not hesitate to contact me.
I am happy to translate an excerpt of your text without
charge so that you can better assess whether or not I am the right translation partner for you.
I generally charge a per-word fee based
on word count in the (German) source text. This way costs are transparent and set in the beginning of a project. The costs vary depending on a number of factors such as project size, text
difficulty, type of translation and subject matter. Here are some numbers for orientation:
For smaller projects up to 800 words:
0,11-0,16 € for every word in
the source document
For larger
projects with more than 800 words:
0,09-0,14 € for every word in
the source document
I am happy to provide a quotation for your text, just ask. No obligation.
Express translations: Feel free to contact me if you need a last-minute translation. Depending on workload, text difficulty and project size,
I may charge a surcharge of 15 to 25% of the translation cost. If so, I would of course inform you of this additional fee before you make your decision.
First Project: First project
with MorrisTranslations? If so, you will receive a 5% discount on the final price.
